Hoyt Archery Support & FAQ
Everything you need to know about our high-performance bows, technical support, and ordering process.
How do I determine the correct draw length for my Hoyt bow?
To find your draw length, measure your wingspan from fingertip to fingertip in inches and divide by 2.5. We recommend visiting an authorized Hoyt dealer for a professional fitting to ensure maximum performance and safety.
What is the standard lead time for custom bow builds?
Customized bows are typically built and shipped within 4 to 6 weeks. Standard in-stock models usually ship within 3-5 business days. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order leaves our facility.
Does my Hoyt bow come with a warranty?
Yes, Hoyt offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original owner on the riser, limbs, and cams. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship but does not cover strings, cables, or damage from dry-firing.
Can I purchase replacement strings and cables directly from your website?
Yes, we offer authentic Hoyt replacement strings and cables designed specifically for our cam systems. Using genuine Hoyt parts ensures your bow maintains its factory-spec timing and performance.
What is your return policy for archery equipment?
Unused accessories in original packaging can be returned within 30 days. Due to the precision nature of the equipment, bows that have been setup, drawn, or fired are not eligible for return unless a manufacturing defect is present.
How often should I wax my bowstring?
We recommend applying a high-quality silicone-based bowstring wax every 2-3 weeks or whenever the string begins to look 'fuzzy.' This prevents fraying and protects the fibers from moisture and UV damage.
